Brazillian soccer players testing the no sex before games rule

Source - SAO PAULO (Reuters) - The Brazilian tradition of the concentracao - sequestering teams before matches and shielding them from temptations such as sex and alcohol - is under threat as players take a stand against the late payment of wages.

So far this year players at Botafogo, Portuguesa and Vasco da Gama have refused to attend the concentracao because their salaries were not paid on time.

When I was playing puck in highschool my older teammates told you can't jerk off the night before a game. God knows I wasn't getting laid, and so did they. They said it takes all the fire out of a man. How was I going to battle for loose pucks in the corner when all the testosterone had been fired out of me and into a kleenex?
