Santa surfing Manhattan Beach

Source - How does Santa arrive in Southern California? On a surfboard, natch. Vince Ray of Redondo Beach appeared amid the waves of the South Bay this week for his 13th year as St. Nick of the sea, carrying on what’s become a classic SoCal tradition started by the Beach Cities’ Easy Reader weekly newspaper more than four decades ago.

Love this. You might say he is an attention whore but I disagree. I think it is awesome. Kids love it, and it's fun. But more importantly, you could probably slay like this. I mean not him because hes like 56, and not me because I am hideous, but if you are decent looking and can surf you must do this. Surfing is already gravy, but if you don't have a swagged out wet suit you're just another chump. Gotta be as flashy as possible and this is taking that to the next level. Get into a barrel dressed as St. Nick and you have your pick of the beach. Chicks taking a number and getting in line, just waiting for their serving. Christmas comes early! And so do I.
