James Terry, of Rocklin, tells KCRA-TV the "Smurfs 2" DVD turned out to be pornography. He rented the movie from a Redbox machine in Stockton on Tuesday.
Terry says he called Redbox, which offered him 10 movies and a $2 credit and said it was working on a program to prevent people from photocopying bar codes.
In a statement to the station, the company said it was helping local law enforcement try to find the person responsible in Terry's case.
The other movie Terry rented that day, "Man of Steel," did not have any problems.
So this dude tries to rent the Smurfs and gets porn. Redbox offers him 10 movies and a 2 dollar credit. Isn't a movie like a $1.50? Why the 2 dollar credit. Why not just 11 movies? Like what mind game is red box playing here?
Also, they don't owe this guy shit. It's probably a half decent porn, and for a $1.50 no less. I know pron is free on the internet but its nice to throw it on the big screen now and then. And the receipt says Smurfs so you are in the clear with the wife. I mean this is an ideal situation. If anything he owes them.
PS The other movie Terry rented that day, "Man of Steel," did not have any problems. Good to know. At least Terry had this to fall asleep to after he got his nut.
