LA guy has engagement ring stolen out of his car, cops find the robbers and get it back

Source - A newly engaged West Los Angeles couple has police officers to thank for preventing the aspiring groom’s Christmastime wedding proposal from being ruined by thieves. Los Angeles Police Department officers received a call about two men breaking into cars in the 1700 block of Corinth Avenue, near the couple’s apartment. Officers responded, running after and then apprehending two suspects — and a finding an engagement ring in their possession.
“He was coy at first and he said, ‘Do you think you could describe this ring to me?’” Johnson recalled. “Of course I could and I had a receipt for it.”
“He said, ‘Well, in that case, I think this is the universe’s way of telling you: You need to marry this girl.”

I'm feeling things right now. Do you marry this girl? I guess so. I mean you got the ring back. How about the robber's roller coaster ride. Talk about a jack pot car robbery. You are looking for a gps, maybe a laptop. Then bang, 3 months salary sitting in the center console. Either way, why is the cop such a dick about it. How would he even know there was a ring in the car? Guys probably having a panic attack, this is the most nervous he will ever be, cut him some fucking slack.
