Chick jumps between buildings, gets stuck in 18-inch space

Source - SANTA ANA — Firefighters have rescued a 28-year-old woman who became trapped while attempting to jump from the roof of one building to another in Santa Ana.
City News Service says the woman fell and was caught for 90 minutes in an 18-inch space between a beauty salon and an abandoned market Monday night.
Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi says a rescue team that specializes in freeing people caught in tight places put a harness around the woman and lifted her out.
She suffered minor injuries, mostly scrapes and bruises.
Concialdi says it’s unclear why she attempted the jump.

This is making waves, I don't really care. She wasn't hurt, and she's a moron. Why did she jump? Why did the chicken cross the road, bro?
Here is why I blogged this: Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi says a rescue team that specializes in freeing people caught in tight places put a harness around the woman and lifted her out.
SO many questions. Why the fuck is there a specialty team for people caught in tight places? How often is this team called upon? What is their salary? Are those my tax dollars? Can I have that job? I need answers!!!
